Tiger Island
Returning this June!
Tiger Island is one of our favorites and arguably our most special coffee. Honduras is a major coffee producer. There's no doubt about that. What makes Tiger Island unique is where it comes from. Look for notes of green apple, dark chocolate, toffee, and honey.
This light and smooth coffee are produced by a particular Honduran collective of farmers known as COCAFCAL (Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limitada). This collective covers several hundred small growers in the area and sets strict yet attainable standards for their member farmers' beans.
COCAFCAL coffees are unique in that they're all certified by the Rainforest Alliance, The USDA and are Fair Trade. Even better still, the Copan region of Honduras where Tiger Island is grown is responsible for some fantastic flavors, a light and fruitful body, and an all-around memorable cup experience.

Why Seaplane Coffee?

Roasted In Small Batches
so nothing goes to waste.
The average roasting window for our coffees hovers around once per week. Our coffee always arrives at your door at peak freshness.

Locally Made
right here in the Puget Sound.
Founded in Kenmore, roasted in the Seattle area. We cater mostly to our neighbors, though we'll never turn away a far-away visitor!

The Environment
is something we care about, too.
It takes a lot of resources to turn coffee from a plant into a brew. We donate 1% of our sales to help offset our footprint on the environment.
